Work at this facility included a complete renovation to the existing 10,000 s.f. ambulatory surgery center, and included a 3,500 s.f. addition for expansion of the pre- and post-recovery areas and a new patient discharge canopy. The center was renovated while fully occupied and the construction was completed without any loss of scheduled surgery. The renovations included hard piping of medical gas into the existing OR’s, relocation of interior spaces to accommodate the new design program requirements, complete renovations to the interior finishes, expansion of the waiting and reception areas, and providing two new procedure rooms.
